Sandeep Reddy Vanga created a sensation with the small film Arjun Reddy. That one film completely changed his range. When the same film was remade in Hindi with a bigger budget as Kabir Singh, it became a blockbuster there as well. After that, everyone knows how big a scale Sandeep reached with Animal. That film grossed over ₹800 crore. As a result, the scale of Sandeep Reddy’s next film increased even further.

This time, Vanga is set to direct Spirit with Pan-India superstar Prabhas. It is certain to be one of the biggest films in India. While working on such a large film, Sandeep is also ready to produce a small Telugu movie — not as a director, but as a producer. Under the Bhadrakali Films banner, which started with Arjun Reddy, Sandeep has prepared the ground for this new film.

Malayalam young heroine Ananthika Sunil Kumar, who made her debut as a lead in Mad and gained recognition with the lady-oriented film 8 Vasantaalu, will play the heroine in this movie. Unlike her previous two films in Telugu, this time Ananthika will act in a film set against a Telangana rural backdrop. Sumanth Ashwin, famous for Memu Famous, will star opposite Ananthika. The film will be directed by a newcomer named Venu.

Being a native of Telangana, Sandeep has always supported films rooted in local culture. He has helped several films, including Pottel. Now he intends to support local stories through his production house. If this succeeds, more such small films under the Sandeep banner could be expected in the future.
