Samantha Ruth Prabhu is not just celebrated for her acting but also for her heartwarming philanthropic initiatives. Through her NGO Pratyusha Support, established in 2014, she has consistently supported underprivileged women and children with medical aid and emotional guidance.
This Diwali, Pratyusha Support hosted its annual Light of Joy event in Hyderabad, bringing together over 250 children from orphanages and NGOs. The evening was filled with games, fun activities, and a unique “Gratitude Activity” where each child expressed what they were thankful for. As the night descended, hundreds of diyas were lit, symbolizing hope, positivity, and new beginnings. Samantha, along with co-founder Dr. Manjula Anagani, spent quality time with the children, sharing smiles, stories, and festive cheer.
Over the years, Pratyusha Support has carried out vaccination and awareness drives, provided medicines and nutrition to orphanages, supported critically ill children, funded surgeries, and conducted menstrual hygiene programs.
On the work front, Samantha recently appeared in a cameo in Subham. Her upcoming films include Maa Inti Bangaram and Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, with her home production Maa Inti Bangaram set to begin shooting soon.
