Rumours Put to Rest.. When Will ‘Sigma’ Hit Theatres?

‘Sigma’ marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil star Vijay. The action-adventure treasure-hunt heist thriller stars Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles. Produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions, the film features music by Thaman. Originally scheduled for a worldwide release on July 31, the film was reportedly postponed as Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ was set to arrive in theatres on July 23. The delay subsequently led to several rumours about the project’s release.

The makers have now put those rumours to rest by officially announcing the new release date. ‘Sigma’ will hit theatres worldwide on October 2, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. Describing it as a major heist arriving on the big screen, the team asked audiences to mark the date. A new poster featuring Sundeep Kishan has also been released, showing him looking outside a window with a pet dog beside him. The intriguing poster has further increased curiosity around the film.
