Rishab Shetty Shares Kantara Sequel Update

Writer, director, and actor Rishab Shetty has shared an important update on the next installment of 'Kantara'. He revealed that the initial work on the highly anticipated sequel is already underway. Despite being busy with multiple projects, he said he has no plans to step away from direction and is actively discussing the story, characters, and background with his team.

Rishab will first complete 'Jai Hanuman', directed by Prasanth Varma, before focusing on the historical film 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj'. As both projects require distinct transformations, he said the sequel may take some time to begin production. However, he confirmed that the writing process for the next 'Kantara' film will continue without interruption.
