The film is being produced under the banners of Pradha Pictures and Sai Cine Chitra by Suresh Kumar Devatha, Haritha Duddukuru, and Prathibha Adivi as their Production No. 1. The movie formally began with a traditional launch ceremony. For the muhurtham scene, writers Kona Venkat and KK Radha Mohan handed over the script. Director Sekhar Kammula gave the first clap, while producer TG Vishwa Prasad switched on the camera. The first shot was directed by Daggubati Suresh Babu. Producers Allu Aravind and Ravi Damodar Prasad attended the event and conveyed their best wishes to the team.
Speaking at the launch, director Sai Kiran Adivi said, I’m delighted to start 16 Days Festival today. My thanks to Sekhar Kammula, Suresh Babu garu, Kona Venkat, and Radha Mohan for being part of this occasion. Director Krishna Vamsi suggested this title after hearing the story and liking it immensely. I’m grateful to him.
Actress Renu Desai said, Sai Kiran narrated this story to me even before the Covid lockdown, and I loved it immediately. I agreed on the spot. I’m playing the role of a mother-in-law in this film. Initially I wondered if it would suit my age, but the character is beautifully written. When the audience watches the film, they’ll understand how meaningful the role is. Sai Kiran is a wonderful and very composed director. It was a pleasure working with him. Thanks to the team for giving me this opportunity.
