Speaking at a press conference in Tirupati, RAW NTR founder Sai Roop clarified that the organisation was established solely to serve society and is not associated with any political party. He said the ‘Ooru Vaada’ initiative will focus on three key areas: creating awareness among youth against drugs and harmful habits, addressing long-pending village issues, and taking public grievances to the attention of government authorities. He added that the first phase of the programme will begin in villages across NTR district.

Sai Roop alleged that false campaigns on social media had caused unnecessary controversy and emotionally affected him over the past week. He maintained that RAW NTR is a legally registered NGO that will carry out welfare programmes through CSR funding worth ₹100 crore. He also said the organisation has been trying to meet Jr NTR for the past three years, while making it clear that their mission is public service and not political activity or seeking recognition.
