Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and director Vivek Athreya have titled their upcoming crime comedy Thulabharam. Instead of unveiling a conventional first-look poster, the makers introduced the title through a fun video featuring the film’s ensemble cast. The clip shows the actors engaging in a lively discussion about possible titles and genres, with each person suggesting their own ideas. After several amusing exchanges, they settle on Thulabharam, a title that reflects the film’s blend of crime, comedy, romance and emotion. The promo also gives Ravi Teja the playful tag “Crime Maharaja,” adding to the entertainment value.
The video reveals several character names from the cast. Anil Karella plays Jadeja, Ravi Anthony appears as Robin, Tharun Bhascker portrays Devaraj, and JD Chakravarthy plays Shivaji Rao. Priyanka Mohan and Anaswara Rajan will be seen as Krishna Veni and Sound, respectively, while Ravi Teja’s character name remains under wraps. Produced by Bridge Productions, the film is scheduled to begin its regular shoot on October 17. Vivek Sagar is composing the music, while Theni Eswar is handling the cinematography. The makers are expected to share more details about the project soon.
