Ranbir Kapoor’s Shocking Comments on ‘Ramayana’ Visuals!

‘Ramayana’ is the upcoming mythological epic directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the film features Ranbir as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari. Music legends AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer are composing the score. The makers are planning to release the film on November 8 as a Diwali special. However, the visuals featured in the recently released trailer have faced criticism online, with some netizens alleging that AI was used in the film’s graphics. Ranbir Kapoor has now responded to the criticism.

Ranbir said that many people have recently started calling themselves CGI critics without having a basic understanding of the technology. He noted that viewers often watch a video and immediately comment that the graphics are not good. According to him, the growing use of AI has increased public interest in the technology, which is a positive development, but dismissing the extensive work of technical experts by simply claiming that it was created using AI is unfair. He added that satisfying every section of the audience is a major challenge. Ranbir also said that completing around 80 percent of the shoot for the second part before the first part has even been released could possibly be a first in the history of Indian cinema. A sequel to ‘Ramayana’ is already in the works and is expected to arrive during Diwali next year.
