Vijay Deverakonda’s period action drama Ranabali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan and starring Rashmika Mandanna, has collected a worldwide gross of ₹36.90 crore in its first three days, according to trade estimates. The film opened in theatres on October 16 amid high expectations, but mixed reviews have led to fluctuations in its box office performance. According to Sacnilk estimates, the film earned ₹9.25 crore net in India on Day 1, ₹7.30 crore on Day 2 and ₹7.50 crore on Day 3, taking its total India net collection to ₹24.05 crore.
Reportedly made on a budget of around ₹120 crore, Ranabali has a theatrical business estimated at approximately ₹60 crore. To achieve its break-even target, the film needs to generate a distributor share of around ₹60 crore, equivalent to roughly ₹120 crore in gross collections. With its worldwide gross currently at ₹36.90 crore, the film still has a considerable distance to cover. Strong collections in the Telugu-speaking states, sustained festive-season footfall, better overseas performance and continued audience interest during the second week will be crucial to its success.
The film’s performance is also important for Vijay Deverakonda, who is looking for a strong commercial comeback after several films failed to meet expectations. The coming weekdays will be a major test, as collections often decline after the opening weekend. Although Sunday witnessed a slight improvement over Saturday, the film has yet to regain its opening-day momentum. Its performance during the Dussehra holiday and the following weekdays will determine whether Ranabali can move closer to its break-even target or face a challenging box office run.
