Ram Pothineni, who was busy promoting the film in Telugu states, is currently in the USA along with actress Bhagyashri Borse for theatre visits. Back home, the team held a success press meet in Hyderabad, attended by Upendra and other key members.
Producer Ravi shared that he has been receiving overwhelming appreciation calls since the release. He said they chose Thursday to take advantage of Thanksgiving weekend in the USA, which helped the film register strong numbers. He also revealed that Ram, understanding the tough market conditions, did not take remuneration and instead opted for Nizam and Guntur rights, while Upendra too accepted a reduced payment.
Director Mahesh Babu P praised the chemistry between Ram and Upendra, calling their combination “magic on screen.” Upendra added that he was emotional when he first heard the story and felt pressure playing the “Andhra King,” but later felt deeply connected to the role. The film, which opened to solid numbers, is expected to grow further from day two.
