Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming rural action entertainer Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, continues to generate strong buzz across the country. After the striking first-look posters and glimpse received immense appreciation, the team has now shifted focus to one of the most important action sequences of the film.
A large-scale fight episode featuring Ram Charan is currently being shot at a specially built set inside the Aluminium Factory, Hyderabad. Production designer Avinash Kolla has constructed an expansive backdrop exclusively for this schedule. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who plays a key role, is also taking part in this shoot.
Renowned Bollywood stunt expert Sham Kaushal, father of actor Vicky Kaushal and known for his work in films like Dangal, is overseeing the action. Stunt master Navakanth is coordinating the sequence on set. The team brought Sham Kaushal on board as this fight is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the film and is being executed on an exceptionally grand scale.
Director Buchi Babu Sana is reportedly paying close attention to every detail, ensuring that each fight sequence carries a unique style and powerful visual impact.
Meanwhile, Peddi has already made an international splash. The first single, Chikiri Chikiri, has crossed 110 million views and continues to trend worldwide, emerging as one of the year’s most popular songs.
The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, along with Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in significant roles. The project boasts a top-tier technical crew including AR Rahman for music, cinematographer R Rathnavelu, and editor Navin Nooli.
Peddi is scheduled for a massive pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
