Among the films releasing tomorrow, “Raju Weds Rambai” initially had very little attention. But with just one leaked twist, the movie suddenly became the center of social media discussions. Though the team didn’t show huge confidence early on, ETV Win, which delivered a blockbuster theatrical debut with Little Hearts, is now equally confident about this film.
The climax twist circulating online—whether true or not—has already created huge buzz. At the pre-release event yesterday, guest Kiran Abbavaram raised the hype even more by saying, “I’ve never seen such a shocking climax in my life.”
What the twist really is will be known by tomorrow.
However, the team made an excellent decision regarding ticket prices:
Across Telugu states:
Single screens → ₹99
Multiplexes → ₹105
The producers said, “Ticket prices are always a topic of discussion. So this time, we are keeping them completely affordable. Come watch the film in theaters.”
Online booking platforms, however, are yet to fully update these prices. Some multiplexes still show ₹150, and AP listings also need corrections.
In today’s scenario, this kind of initiative is important. While big 100-crore films hike prices, low-budget films reducing prices is perfectly logical. Lower rates increase footfalls, and with good talk, the film can run successfully for 2–3 weeks.
Upcoming competition:
Next week: AndhraKing starring Ram
December 5: Akhanda 2
So, earning strong numbers in the first week is crucial for a film like Raju Weds Rambayi.
If the movie delivers and the much-talked-about climax truly connects, it has a strong chance of becoming a hit despite the competition.
