Superstar Rajinikanth’s team has dismissed social media reports claiming differences between the actor and director Ashwath Marimuthu during the making of their upcoming film Dharman. Rajinikanth’s manager clarified the situation through a post on X, stating that the rumours were baseless and that filming was progressing smoothly. According to the manager, he had personally observed the shoot and found Rajinikanth happy and enthusiastic about his work. He also praised the director’s active involvement, saying the production was moving ahead at a good pace.
The rumours reportedly began with a social media post alleging that disagreements had surfaced between Rajinikanth and Ashwath Marimuthu during a shooting schedule in Mysuru. However, no member of the film’s team had confirmed the claims, and Rajinikanth’s manager has now directly rejected them. Dharman has already attracted attention following reports of changes in its directorial team. Rajinikanth plays the lead role, while Kamal Haasan is producing the film under Raj Kamal Films International in association with Turmeric Media. The first-look poster, released in June this year, showed Rajinikanth in the role of a doctor. Simran, Raashii Khanna and Yogi Babu are also part of the cast.
