Rajinikanth Was Unfairly Targeted, Says Vishnu Vishal

Actor Vishnu Vishal has strongly defended Superstar Rajinikanth amid the recent social media controversy surrounding his alleged silence after Thalapathy Vijay assumed office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Speaking during the promotions of his upcoming film Matti Kusthi 2, Vishnu Vishal criticized the growing trend of creating unnecessary speculation whenever celebrities remain silent for a few days. He said Rajinikanth was unfairly targeted despite not making any controversial remarks.

Vishnu Vishal said it was unfortunate that Rajinikanth had to publicly clarify that he held no jealousy towards Vijay. He emphasized that Rajinikanth's achievements and stature in Indian cinema are unparalleled and that suggesting he would envy another actor was unreasonable. Vishnu also urged social media influencers and users not to interpret a celebrity's silence as personal rivalry or hostility and to avoid spreading baseless narratives.
