Rajinikanth Action Thriller with Anirudh’s Music

Superstar Rajinikanth is set to return to the big screen once again as Muthuvel Pandian with Jailer 2, the sequel to his blockbuster hit Jailer. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, the film continues the story that made waves across the country.

The makers are reportedly planning to release the film in the second week of September, coinciding with Vinayaka Chavithi festivities, with two possible dates under consideration. Post-production work is currently progressing at a rapid pace, and an official release announcement is expected soon. The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, while Vijay Kartik Kannan handles cinematography. The sequel also includes special appearances by Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar, adding to the film’s massive pan-India appeal.
