Rajamouli–Mahesh Babu Film ‘Varanasi’ Confirmed for 2027 Release!

The makers of the much-anticipated film Varanasi have indicated that there will be no postponement in its release schedule. Through an official social media announcement on Wednesday, the production team confirmed that the film will arrive in theatres as planned in 2027. The movie stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role and is being directed by ace filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli.

Produced by K.L. Narayana and S.S. Karthikeya, the film features Priyanka Chopra as the female lead, with Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a crucial role. Currently under production, the project is progressing strictly according to schedule. Known for his grand scale and high-end visual effects, Rajamouli’s films often face delays; however, the team is determined to ensure a timely 2027 release. Being made on a massive budget, Varanasi is being designed as a global-scale cinematic spectacle.
