Raj Tarun’s New Avatar with ‘Tortoise’

After a string of setbacks and a brief break from films, young hero Raj Tarun is gearing up for a strong comeback with the suspense-driven action thriller ‘Tortoise’. Promotional posts by Avasarala Srinivas over the past two days, asking, “Who is the young hero who sleepwalks?”, had created considerable curiosity among movie lovers. The makers have now ended the suspense by unveiling the film’s title and first-look poster. The unusual title and intense poster have further raised expectations around the project.

The first-look poster shows Raj Tarun sitting beside a bloodied corpse, with blood stains covering him, while a knife and a tortoise are seen nearby. The caption, “When the night begins, his story begins.. Where will his sleepwalking footsteps lead?”, hints at the film’s dark and suspenseful narrative. Directed by Ritwik Kumar, the thriller stars Amrutha Chowdary as the female lead, with Avasarala Srinivas and Dhanya Balakrishna in key roles. Produced by Vijay Chowdary, Shashidhar Nalla and Ramisetti Rambabu under Prashwita Entertainments, NVL Creations and SK Golden Arts, the film is currently progressing at a brisk pace and is expected to hit theatres soon.
