Producer Nagavamsi, who previously faced heavy trolling for his overconfident statements before the release of Kingdom and War 2, seems to have learned his lesson. After those films failed to meet expectations, rumors spread wildly on social media — claiming he had sold his properties and moved to Dubai to avoid the backlash. Later, Nagavamsi laughed off those rumors, returned to work, and is now busy again in filmmaking.
His next project, Mass Jathara, starring Ravi Teja, is gearing up for release. The film will have paid premieres on October 31, followed by a full theatrical release the next day. During the film’s pre-release event, Nagavamsi spoke cautiously — clearly remembering his past experiences.
He said he has complete faith in Mass Jathara, assuring that the movie has everything Ravi Teja fans expect — action, mass moments, and entertainment. However, he made it clear that he wouldn’t make any exaggerated claims this time. “If I call it a super bumper hit and something goes wrong, social media will roast me again,” he said with a smile.
At this point, anchor Suma jumped in and declared that Mass Jathara is full of energy, mass appeal, and fun. Nagavamsi humorously added, “If anyone wants to troll after release, please do it on Suma’s Instagram page, not mine!”
Ending on a witty note, he said, “No matter what happens, I’m not going to Dubai this time — so no one needs to worry!” He also mentioned that among Ravi Teja’s films, Venky remains his personal favorite.
