

Global star Priyanka Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema after a long gap with director S.S. Rajamouli's upcoming film 'Varanasi', starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Scheduled for a grand release in April 2027, the film has generated huge buzz among fans. Speaking on a recent podcast, Priyanka revealed that she has been working on the project for the past 14 months and described it as an exciting experience.
Priyanka said Rajamouli's filmmaking style is unique and that the film is a grand time travel adventure spanning multiple locations across the world. She revealed that she performed several challenging slow motion jump sequences and praised the larger-than-life world created by the director. She also shared that parts of the film were shot in Antarctica and that one of the songs has been choreographed on a massive scale, making her even more excited for the remaining shoot.
