

Global star Priyanka Chopra has created fresh excitement around Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’. During an appearance on the internationally popular ‘Hey Jonas’ podcast, she revealed that she has been working on the film for the past 14 months. She praised Rajamouli’s vision and said the filmmaker carefully crafts every scene, which is why the production process takes time.
Priyanka described ‘Varanasi’ as a spectacular time-travel adventure spanning multiple countries and timelines. She also hinted at performing challenging action sequences and slow-motion stunt scenes for the film. Calling it the most prestigious project of her 24-year career, she expressed confidence that the film will be a landmark in global cinema. Starring Mahesh Babu in the lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the powerful antagonist, the film features music by MM Keeravani and is reportedly being made on a massive ₹1,200 crore budget.
