Prakash Raj extends support to Professor Nageshwar

Actor Prakash Raj has extended his support to Professor Nageshwar through a video posted on X, stating that the professor has long stood with the public and raised important questions across political parties. He alleged that a selective clip of the professor’s speech is being used to trigger trolling, threats, and legal cases on social media. Prakash Raj questioned whether such actions reflect democracy or a political culture of intimidation against dissenting voices.

He further stated that if there are objections to the professor’s remarks, they should be countered with evidence or political debate instead of character assassination and intimidation. He also pointed out that Nageshwar Rao has questioned multiple political leaders across party lines over the years, raising concerns about alleged double standards. He warned that attempts to silence critical voices through cases and pressure are dangerous for democracy.
