"Everyone is now talking about the new point in 'The Raja Saab' film," said director Maruthi. He stated that the film's outcome shouldn't be judged based on just one show or one day, and that the audience's response would be clearer after at least ten days. He revealed that the highly anticipated episode featuring Prabhas in his old look would be added to the film starting Saturday evening. A blockbuster meet was held in Hyderabad for the film, which is currently running successfully in theaters.
Speaking on the occasion, Maruthi said that he had presented Prabhas in the film exactly as the audience wanted to see him. He mentioned that the 40-minute mind game climax is receiving a great response, and that such an attempt with a commercial hero had never been made on the Indian screen before. He explained that the film came about because of Prabhas's idea that big heroes should do new stories that cater to the audience's tastes. He added that some people were disappointed that the old look shown in the teaser and trailer wasn't in the film, and therefore, they are shortening some scenes in the second half and adding approximately 8 minutes of new footage.
Producer TG Vishwaprasad stated that the film exceeded the initial estimate of Rs. 100 crore on the first day, collecting Rs. 112 crore. He said it is a good horror fantasy film, and that children and families are also coming to the theaters. Nidhi Agarwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar also participated in the event.
