Pan-India star Prabhas' upcoming period action drama Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is progressing at a brisk pace with its shoot, and the makers are targeting a release later this year. Amid growing anticipation, reports about the film's digital rights have become a major talking point. However, no official confirmation has been issued by the makers regarding these reports.
According to industry buzz, Netflix has reportedly acquired the South Indian streaming rights of Fauji for ₹180 crore, while AA Films is said to have secured the Hindi theatrical rights for ₹60 crore. Reports also suggest that the Hindi OTT rights are yet to be finalized. The film stars Imanvi as the female lead alongside Prabhas, with Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada and Mithun Chakraborty playing key roles. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, with music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
