Posani Says ‘Naayak’ Changed His Career

Renowned actor and writer Posani Krishna Murali, in a recent interview, shared how the film Naayak became a turning point in his career. He stated that the movie, directed by V.V. Vinayak and starring Ram Charan, holds a special place in his journey. Posani expressed his admiration for Vinayak, recalling their close bond and how he was approached for a small comedic role in the film with just three days of shooting initially planned.

However, after witnessing the audience-like response from the film unit on the very first day, Vinayak decided to expand Posani’s role significantly. What started as a three-day schedule extended to nearly 17–18 days. Posani also revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi thoroughly enjoyed his scenes before release and advised the director not to cut any of them. Following the film’s release, Posani received an overwhelming response, with offers from 36 films within just a week, making Naayak a milestone in his career.
