Poojitha Ponnada’s New Journey in the Tamil Film Industry

Actress Poojitha Ponnada, who has appeared in several Telugu films, is set to explore new opportunities in Tamil cinema as a lead actress with the suspense thriller Signal at 11.30. Directed by Malar Vazhi Natesan and produced under the Alar Studios banner, the film features Santhosh Prathap as the male lead, with Poojitha Ponnada and Bhavya Trikha playing the female leads. The film has completed production and is scheduled for release on the 30th of this month. Music for the project has been composed by D. Imman.

Expressing her happiness about making her debut as a lead actress in Kollywood, Poojitha said she believes the film will be an important milestone in her career. Born in Visakhapatnam, she studied computer science in Chennai and later worked at a software company in Hyderabad. Interested in dance and painting, she entered the entertainment industry after being offered a role in a short film. Her acting journey began with the short film Parichayam, followed by opportunities in advertisements. Director Sukumar noticed her in an advertisement and gave her an opportunity to act in Darshakudu. She later appeared in several films, including Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam, in which she played a significant role. With Signal at 11.30, she is now preparing to connect with Tamil audiences in a leading role.
