Panja Re-Release Creates Sensation, Proving Pawan Kalyan’s Unmatched Craze

Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa, directed by Vishnuvardhan, has received an impressive response from audiences in its re-release. Although the stylish gangster action drama did not meet expectations during its original theatrical run in 2011, its return to cinemas has generated strong excitement among Pawan Kalyan’s fans. The film was re-released as a special birthday treat for the Power Star.

According to the reported figures, Panjaa collected a worldwide gross of Rs 5.12 crore through its re-release. The film is also said to have earned over Rs 8 crore in gross during its original run, considering the market conditions at the time. The relatively narrow difference between the original and re-release opening figures highlights the lasting popularity and box-office influence of Pawan Kalyan. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music, while Sarah Jane Dias played the female lead. Brahmanandam, Jackie Shroff, Adivi Sesh and Ali were also part of the cast.
