One-Sided Support in Cameos: Sudeep Expresses Disappointment

Kiccha Sudeep is one of the top stars in Kannada cinema. He has a strong following in other languages as well. He gained good recognition in Telugu by acting in films like ‘Eega’. He has also appeared in some Hindi films. In Kannada, Sudeep enjoys a massive market.

Whether in Kannada or other languages, Sudeep always enthusiastically steps forward to play special roles. Not just as a hero, but he also takes on villain and character roles. It is surprising that such an actor is expressing disappointment over stars from other languages not coming forward to do cameos in his films.

Not only Sudeep but also Kannada stars like Shivrajkumar and Upendra often do cameos in other language films. However, while they go to other industries and play special roles, actors from other languages are not reciprocating for Kannada films, said Sudeep with regret. He mentioned that he has done cameos in many films without taking remuneration, yet even when personally requested, they did not come forward to act in his films, and mutual support is lacking here.

As a Christmas gift, Sudeep’s film ‘Mark’ was released. It is learned that when Sudeep approached heroes from other languages for cameos in this film, they did not agree.
