Actor Aishwarya Rajesh has expressed confidence that her latest film O..! Sukumari, releasing today, will entertain audiences with its unique blend of comedy, family emotions and village politics. Speaking at a press interaction in Hyderabad, she said the film is not confined to a single genre and offers wholesome entertainment. Aishwarya revealed that she plays Damini, a de-glamour village girl, while Thiruveer portrays Thiru, a man aspiring to become a corporator. She added that an unusual family property dispute forms the core of the story, with her character playing a key role in the narrative.
Reflecting on her career, Aishwarya said the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam helped her connect with audiences across all age groups. She also stated that she has no intention of choosing between films and OTT platforms, noting that her Tamil web series Suzhal brought her recognition not only across India but globally. Having completed over 50 films in multiple languages, she said she now wishes to explore challenging roles, including powerful negative characters similar to Neelambari and psychologically intense performances.
