

Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad has recalled the pivotal role played by legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao in shaping his film career. Speaking on the popular television show Ali Tho Saradaga, Rajendra Prasad said that he was wandering the streets of Vijayawada without a clear direction when NTR introduced him to the world of cinema. He revealed that a simple question from NTR — “What are you good at?” — became a turning point that eventually helped him discover his strength as a comedy hero.
Ahead of receiving the prestigious Padma Shri award, Rajendra Prasad reflected on his long-standing association with NTR and the impact the legendary actor had on both his professional and personal life. He said the encouragement and guidance he received from NTR helped him build a unique identity in the Telugu film industry. His remarks have once again highlighted the special bond he shared with one of the most influential figures in Telugu cinema and politics.
