No Clarity Yet on ‘Adhira’ Status

The Telugu superhero film Hanu-Man, directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja, became a major success and led the filmmaker to expand his cinematic universe. Projects such as Jai Hanuman and Mahakali have already been announced. However, the status of Adhira, which was announced much earlier, remains unclear. The film was supposed to introduce Kalyan, son of producer DVV Danayya, as a hero, and its first glimpse had received a positive response.

Since its announcement, there has been little information about Adhira. During the release of OG last year, the makers only unveiled a poster introducing S. J. Suryah as the antagonist. No further updates have emerged since then, while other projects in Prasanth Varma's cinematic universe have moved forward. Fans are now waiting to know when Adhrai will begin and whether the project is still on track. An official update from the makers could finally clear the air.
