The upcoming big-budget film Peddi is reportedly being planned for a June release, with June 25 currently under consideration. However, several key works are still pending, including the completion of an item song shoot and the background score for the second half by A. R. Rahman. The film’s edit also needs to be finalized before the score is completed, causing further delays in the production timeline.
Amid these uncertainties, Ram Charan is said to have directed the team not to release any promotional posters without his approval. He is reportedly cautious about early promotions losing relevance if the release gets postponed. At the same time, director Buchi Babu Sana is working under pressure to maintain the schedule. With the film positioned as a pan-India project, the team is aiming for a strong impact in the Hindi market, while also monitoring other release clashes that may affect the final date.
