The Drishyam series revolves around a single lie told to protect a family, which leads to a chain of complex events involving crime, justice, memory, and guilt. Starting from an ordinary cable TV operator’s life, the story challenges traditional ideas of crime and punishment. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the franchise presents a gripping narrative where the question is not “who committed the crime,” but “how far can a family go to survive.”
In Drishyam 3, Drishyam 3 continues the journey of Georgekutty, played by Mohanlal, who tries to live a normal life while his past resurfaces through a journalist’s investigation. The film explores how lies lead to more lies and how memory and guilt never truly disappear. Despite strong performances and technical strengths, the narrative pacing and complexity create mixed viewing experiences, keeping the story open-ended and psychologically intense.
