The movie “Neelakantha”, starring Master Mahendran, who gained fame as a child actor in several Telugu and Tamil super hits, is all set for a Pan-India theatrical release on January 2, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is presented by Smt. M. Mamatha and M. Rajarajeswari, produced by Marlapalli Srinivasulu and Venugopal Devi under the banners of LS Productions and Global Cinemas. The movie is directed by Rakesh Madhavan. Neha Pathan, Yashna Mutluri, and Sneha Ullal play the lead actresses.
DOP and Editor Shravan G. Kumar mentioned that the trailer reflects the team’s hard work and praised the film’s potential to captivate audiences.
Producer Venugopal Devi expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the trailer launch and conveyed confidence that the film will have the same strong impact as its trailer.
Presenter Smt. M. Rajarajeswari added that she enjoyed the trailer and was impressed with the performance of every artist in the film, expressing faith that audiences will appreciate the movie as well.
Director Rakesh Madhavan shared that this is his first feature film. He expressed happiness that viewers feel the work is professionally executed despite being a debut. The film contains strong emotions, engaging fight sequences, and captivating songs. The final 20 minutes are designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Heroine Yashna stated that they selected local talent from a village location, and the film combines family drama, action, and a love story to engage viewers.
Hero Master Mahendran expressed that he understands the love of Telugu audiences and prefers working on stories with meaningful content and emotions. He highlighted that the film portrays a hero confronting challenges with integrity without committing mistakes, making it a compelling narrative.
Producer Marlapalli Srinivasulu stated that he transitioned from an IT background into filmmaking due to his passion for cinema. Inspired by a line suggested by his friend Shashidhar, he decided to produce the film. Despite facing storms and weather-related challenges during the shoot, the team’s dedication ensured the film was completed successfully.
