The film “Nawab Cafe”, starring Shiva Kandukuri, Rajeev Kanakala and Teju Ashwini in lead roles, is set to release on February 20. Produced by Radha V Papudippu under the Harshika Productions banner and directed by Pramod Harsha, the team recently held a grand press meet to share details about the film. The movie was initially planned with the title ‘Chai Wala’, but following censor board guidelines, the makers decided to officially change the title to ‘Nawab Cafe’.
Speaking at the event, hero Shiva Kandukuri said the film was made with complete honesty and strong emotions. He shared that the title ‘Nawab Cafe’ was always close to the team, as it reflects the soul of the story. Despite challenges and the title change, the producers stood firm without any compromise. Shiva expressed confidence that the film will connect with everyone and said viewers would feel an emotional bond, especially with their fathers, after watching the movie.

Producer Venkat clarified that the title change happened after discussions with the censor team and among many options, ‘Nawab Cafe’ felt the most suitable. Director Pramod Harsha revealed that the story is inspired by real-life experiences and requested media support to reach the audience. Heroine Teju Ashwini, marking her debut, said that good content always wins audience love and hoped the film would be well received when it releases on February 20.
