Senior actor VK Naresh’s upcoming suspense drama Shubhakruth Nama Samvatsaram has generated strong buzz following the release of its first glimpse. Directed by S.S. Sajjan and produced by D.R. Vishwanath Naik, the bilingual Telugu–Kannada film presents Naresh in a strikingly different ‘Devadas’ look. Blending drama, suspense, and travel elements, the glimpse has sparked curiosity among audiences, with Naresh’s intense transformation emerging as the major highlight.

Launched at a grand event in Hyderabad, the glimpse opens with an emotional question posed by a child, followed by visuals portraying loneliness, addiction, and inner conflict surrounding the protagonist. Dialogues such as “Life is a one-time offer… no discount” added emotional weight, while Naresh’s rugged appearance and performance drew widespread appreciation on social media. Actor Sri Vishnu, who attended as chief guest, praised Naresh’s versatility and commitment to encouraging new directors. Speaking at the event, Naresh described the film as content-driven and said the powerful narrative, strong cast, and unique theme would leave a lasting impression on audiences.
