The upcoming Telugu film Crazy Kalyanam, starring Anupama Parameswaran, Tarun Bhaskar, Akhil Raj and senior actor Naresh, is set to hit theatres on October 16. Directed by Badrappa Gajula and produced by Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy, the film revolves around a wedding and promises plenty of entertainment. Anupama will be seen in a different look as a young woman from a rural Telangana village. The makers recently held a grand trailer launch event, where Naresh’s remarks on marriage attracted considerable attention.
Speaking about whether marriage is necessary in today’s world, Naresh said that choosing to marry or remain unmarried can both be valid decisions. He also expressed support for live-in relationships. According to him, weddings have become extravagant events, with families spending crores on celebrations and, in some cases, spending heavily again on divorce proceedings. He voiced concern over the difficulties many people face in finding suitable marriage partners, particularly in rural communities. Naresh added that while people may choose not to marry if they are unwilling, having children remains important. His comments have sparked discussions on social media.
