Nagavamsi to Have Two Movie Releases Within a Week?

Sithara Entertainments head Nagavamsi appears to be focusing on a busy release calendar and the box office. While ‘Viswanath & Sons’ delivered a success in August, ‘Epic First Semester’ did not meet expectations. Undeterred, the producer is reportedly gearing up for a major release of ‘Adarsha Kutumbam AK 47’, starring Venkatesh and directed by Trivikram, on October 9. The film has generated interest among audiences as well as trade circles.

Adding to the lineup, Nagavamsi has reportedly acquired the Telugu states distribution rights for Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’, scheduled for release on October 15. Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Ranabali’ is set to arrive on October 16, making the box-office scenario during that week particularly interesting. With only a short gap between the releases, discussions are underway in industry circles about how Nagavamsi plans to manage theatre allocations. If both ‘Adarsha Kutumbam AK 47’ and ‘Jailer 2’ perform strongly, the season could prove significant for Sithara Entertainments.
