Nagarjuna Akkineni expressed immense confidence in Lenin, saying it will mark a major turning point in Akhil Akkineni's career. Speaking at the film's press meet in Hyderabad, Nagarjuna revealed that after Manam, which he dedicated to his father, this is the film in which he has been deeply emotionally invested for his son Akhil. He said he was convinced during production itself that Lenin would become a remarkable film. Nagarjuna added that although Akhil was known for urban characters, director Murali Kishor Abburu's rural-based script would introduce him to mass audiences in a completely new avatar.
Akhil Akkineni said he immediately connected with the emotionally driven story and worked extensively to transform himself into the character of Lenin. He described the film as one that stays rooted in its culture and promised several unexpected twists for audiences. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi expressed confidence that the film would live up to expectations, while director Murali Kishor Abburu stated that audiences would see only the character of Lenin on screen, not Akhil. The film, co-starring Bhagyashri Borse, is scheduled for release on July 10.
