

The team of the pan-India mythological adventure thriller Nagabandham, directed by Abhishek Nama, interacted with the media ahead of its July 3 theatrical release. Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu expressed confidence that the film would become a major success, stating that stories centered on serpents have always fascinated audiences. Producer A.M. Rathnam said Nagabandham is a film best experienced on the big screen and added that its title reminds him of the mysterious chambers of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Actor Ajay Rathnam praised lead actor Virat Karrna for his dedication, while actress Nabha Natesh described the film as a blend of history, mystery, action, thrills and emotions. Virat Karrna said the film had strengthened him spiritually and encouraged parents to introduce children to India's spiritual heritage.
Meanwhile, the trailer of Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku, directed by Dayal Padmanabhan and starring Vetri, was unveiled ahead of its July 10 release. The film is inspired by the sensational 1944 murder case of journalist C.N. Lakshmikanthan. In another major announcement, the makers of Sardar 2, starring Karthi in the lead role and directed by P.S. Mithran, confirmed that the sequel will hit theatres on September 10. The film also features S.J. Suryah, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Rajisha Vijayan, Yogi Babu and others.
