Team Nagabandham has completed another major milestone as the cast and crew recently filmed a massive, high-energy climax sequence at Ramanaidu Studios, Nanakramguda. The upcoming pan-India film, led by rising actor Virat Karrna, continues to expand its scale and ambition under the direction of Abhishek Nama. Producers Kishore Annapu reddy and Nishitha Nagi reddy are mounting the project on an extraordinary canvas, positioning it as one of the most visually grand mythological action dramas in recent years.
The makers are currently shooting an adrenaline-packed climax sequence that alone carries an investment of nearly 20 crore, making it one of the costliest climax blocks ever executed in a film of this scale. A gigantic set featuring a symbolic and imposing ancient door has been constructed exclusively for this portion. Production Designer Ashok Kumar and his team spent months designing and building the structure, ensuring that every detail enhances the drama and emotional depth of the concluding act.
To deliver world-class action, the team brought on board internationally renowned Thai stunt master Kecha Khamphakdee, celebrated for his high-intensity fight choreography in global hits. His involvement guarantees action sequences that are fast, fierce, and visually spectacular, adding a new dimension to the film’s climactic stretch.
Nagabandham features Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads, along with seasoned actors Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and B.S. Avinash in key roles. Set against the backdrop of ancient Vishnu temples, the story uncovers the hidden world behind the sacred practice of Nagabandham, a tradition rooted in centuries-old rituals and temple heritage. Inspired by real-life treasure findings at temples like Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath, the narrative blends myth, mystery, and a sense of divine guardianship. The film reinterprets forgotten customs through a modern lens, weaving suspense and spirituality together.
The visuals are overseen by cinematographer Soundar Rajan S, with editing handled by RC Pranav.
Nagabandham will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. As the shoot nears completion, the team is preparing for an extensive promotional campaign featuring teasers, behind-the-scenes videos, and interactive engagements.
With Abhishek Nama’s creative vision and a strong ensemble cast, Nagabandham aims to offer a powerful blend of action, emotion, and mythic grandeur. Audiences can expect an immersive cinematic journey that promises to stay with them long after the credits roll.
