Naga Chaitanya, Nithiin and Vishwak Sen Set for a Box Office Clash

Telugu cinema is gearing up for an interesting box office clash, with three films featuring popular young actors scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 4, 2026. Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma, Nithiin’s Alias Rukmini and Vishwak Sen’s Legacy are all targeting the same release date. The Legacy team announced its date first, followed by the makers of Vrushakarma. The Alias Rukmini team has now also confirmed December 4, setting up a three-way contest.

Vrushakarma, directed by Karthik Dandu of Virupaksha fame, stars Naga Chaitanya and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Produced jointly by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings, the film’s promotional material hints at a mythological backdrop and grand visuals. Alias Rukmini, starring Nithiin and directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, is produced by Deepti Ganta. Meanwhile, Legacy features Vishwak Sen, with Sai Kiran Reddy Daida directing and Yashwanth Daggumati and Sai Kiran Reddy producing. With all three films appealing to different audiences, theatre availability, opening-day collections and word of mouth could shape their box office performance.
