

Ghattamaneni Jayakrishna spoke at the unveiling of legendary actor Krishna’s statue at Lenin Center in Vijayawada. He said that even though he has not acted in a single film yet, people show him love only because of his grandfather Krishna. He shared that whatever he does in life, he feels his grandfather is guiding him and his main goal is to live in a way that makes Krishna proud. The statue was unveiled by Padmalaya Enterprises head Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao along with Jayakrishna.
Jayakrishna also spoke about another important person in his life, his uncle Mahesh Babu. He said he grew up watching Mahesh Babu’s films and is a big fan of him. He added that Mahesh Babu launched the first look of his debut film. He recalled that producer Ashwini Dutt made Krishna’s film Agni Parvatham 40 years ago, later launched Mahesh Babu in 1999 and now is launching him, which makes him very happy. Jayakrishna shared that his first film as a hero, Srinivas Mangapuram, is being directed by Ajay Bhupathi.
The event was attended by Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju, MP Kesineni Sivanath, MLAs Gadde Rammohan, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Venigandla Ramu, former MLC Budda Venkanna, producer Ashwini Dutt, director Ajay Bhupathi and others.
