

Sahakutumbanam is a family entertainer produced by Mahadev Goud and Nagaratna under the HNG Cinemas LLP banner, with story and direction by Uday Sharma. The film is set to release on January 1. Ram Kiran and Megha Akash play the lead roles, while senior actors like Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, Rajshri Nair, Racha Ravi, Giridhar, Tagubothu Ramesh and Bhadram appear in key roles. Music is composed by Mani Sharma, cinematography is handled by Madhu Dasari and editing is done by Shashank Mali. Popular choreographer Ram Kiran is making his debut as a hero with this film.
As the release date approaches, Ram Kiran interacted with the media and shared his journey. He said his love for dance started in childhood while growing up in Bengaluru and that passion later led him to work as a choreographer in many film industries. His desire to become a hero made him step into acting. He revealed that the story and his character in Sahakutumbanam impressed him, as it is different from regular hero roles and has a psychological touch that keeps the audience curious. He also praised Megha Akash for her discipline and support, and said working with senior actors like Rajendra Prasad and Brahmanandam felt like a dream and a great learning experience.
Ram Kiran spoke highly of director Uday Sharma’s dedication and the producers’ strong support throughout the film. He clarified that he did not do choreography himself for this film, choosing instead to focus on acting. Speaking about the music, he said Mani Sharma’s songs are a big strength for the movie. He also revealed that preview shows were held for a few families, and their emotional feedback brought tears to his eyes. According to him, audiences felt the film can be watched with the entire family and that it strongly reflects family values. He confidently said that Sahakutumbanam, releasing on January 1, will stay close to the hearts of viewers and allow everyone to see themselves or their family members in its characters.
