King of Entertainment Sree Vishnu’s latest movie is ‘Mrithyunjay’. This investigative thriller is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran. Presented by Ramya Gunnam, the film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Vinay Chilakapati under the banners of Lightbox Media and Picture Perfect Entertainment. After the blockbuster movie ‘Samajavaragamana’, Sree Vishnu and Reba Monica John have paired up again for this film. The movie is set to release on February 27. As part of the promotions, director S.S. Rajamouli released the teaser of the film on social media on Wednesday and shared his best wishes to entire team. The makers unveiled the teaser at a grand launch event. Speaking at the teaser launch event..

Sree Vishnu said, “Mrithyunjay runs as a complete thriller. Honest thrillers without songs, without heroines, and without comedy are very rare in Telugu. Hussain has made this film very sincerely. Sandeep produced this movie with the intention of giving good content to Telugu audiences. When such stories are narrated, they feel one way; while making them, they feel another way; and after the background score is added, they feel completely different. The visuals and locations in this film will feel very new. Kaala Bhairava has created magic with his music. The film runs with very few characters. This movie will feel very fresh. Even my performance in this film will appear new. After watching the trailer, the story will be understood even better.”

Producer Sandeep Gunnam said, “Sree Vishnu has never done the same kind of roles or films. From the beginning of his career, he has always experimented. Hussain was a member of Sukumar’s team. When I heard the story he narrated, I felt that the hero needed a strong performance in it. The first name that came to my mind was Sree Vishnu. A great technical team came together for this wonderful story. Everyone will talk about Kaala Bhairava’s music and Vidhya Sagar’s visuals. This film will impress everyone.”

Director Hussain Sha Kiran said, “Every producer used to ask if there was a love story or comedy in it. But Sandeep said, ‘Tell the story you like.’ That’s when I narrated this story. We wanted a hero who could perform in a very settled manner, and we thought of Sree Vishnu. After listening to the story, Sree Vishnu said that the villain’s role should be very powerful, because only if the villain is powerful will the other characters stand out well. I will never forget my working experience with Sree Vishnu. In this film, the story itself is the hero. My sister Manisha worked as the production designer. Sagar worked very hard for this movie. Kaala Bhairava did a wonderful job with his music. Editor Sreekar Prasad brought life to the film with his editing,” he said.
