Mohanlal Builds Huge Expectations for ‘Drishyam 3’

Mohanlal who plays the lead role in director Jeethu Joseph’s mystery thriller ‘Drishyam 3’ has hinted that the franchise could continue with parts 4 and 5 if the third installment succeeds at the box office. The film is set for a worldwide release on May 21, and the recently released trailer has further increased expectations. Speaking at the trailer launch event, Mohanlal said the story has been continuing for 13 years and Georgekutty’s character continues to engage audiences with every move. He added that the climax will be special and the film focuses strongly on the emotional struggles of two families. He also expressed hope for a fourth installment, noting that producer Antony is equally enthusiastic about continuing the series. Director Jeethu Joseph, however, advised audiences not to carry excessive expectations and highlighted that the film focuses deeply on emotional storytelling. The trailer also hints at media involvement in solving the Varun case, which even police struggle to crack.
