Tollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal continues to remain busy in her second innings with several projects. She is currently part of director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious pan-India film ‘Ramayana’, in which she is set to portray Mandodari. While the film is progressing rapidly, Kajal recently spoke about the challenges faced by actresses in the film industry, particularly the perceptions and discrimination they encounter after marriage.
Kajal said it is unfair to assume that an actress’s career comes to an end after marriage. She expressed disappointment that some actresses are sidelined despite having strong market value and popularity simply because they are married. According to Kajal, marriage and age should never become barriers for talented actresses. She stressed that performers with genuine talent can deliver outstanding performances at any age and hoped the industry would move away from such discriminatory attitudes.
