Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi’s latest release, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is creating waves at the box office and setting new records. The film also features veteran actor Venkatesh in a guest role as Venky Gowda, delivering a performance filled with humor and charm. Since the release, rumors about Venkatesh’s remuneration have circulated widely on social media, with speculation suggesting he was paid a huge amount.
Producer Sushmita Konidela clarified the matter, “There has been no debate about Venkatesh’s remuneration. His role in the film has become a major highlight, and audiences connected with him immediately. His pay is completely justified, and we are happy to compensate him generously. Personally, he is very positive, and having both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh on set brought joy and laughter every day. Together, they have become a hit combination on the silver screen. If in the future we get a multi-starrer with these two, it would be my fortune to be a part of it.” Released on January 12 as a Sankranti treat, the movie quickly joined the 300 crore club regionally and became the highest-grossing overseas Tollywood film of 2026.
