Mammootty’s ‘Om’ Glimpse Is a Power-Packed Treat

Mammootty’s birthday has brought back to back surprises for his fans. After the release of the first look of his upcoming film ‘Mela’, a special update from the much awaited ‘Om’ has now been unveiled. The makers released a glimpse of Mammootty’s powerful character, ‘Burma Karthikeyan’, giving fans a glimpse of his intense and intriguing role. In the video, Karthikeyan’s photo appears on a police station prisoner list, while the police search for him and locals rally in his support. In a surprising turn, Karthikeyan is seen sitting inside the police station itself and casually enjoying a cricket match.

The glimpse features action packed scenes of Karthikeyan taking on his enemies inside the prison and later walking out on bail to run his illegal empire. Mammootty’s swag and commanding screen presence stand out in the video. He is reportedly playing Dhanush’s father in the film, an action drama directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela are the female leads, while young music director Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music. The film is jointly produced by Wunderbar Films and R. Take Studios and is currently progressing at a brisk pace, with the makers planning to release it in theatres on October 16.
