Malayalam’s First WWE-Genre Film Heads for a Massive AP–TS Release!

Mythri Movie Makers plans to release "Chatha Pacha – Ring of Rowdies," a Malayalam action comedy in the WWE genre, in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The movie, which is slated for release in January 2026, will be distributed in Kerala by Wayfarer Films, owned by Dulquer Salmaan. Key partners Ramesh, Ritesh Ramakrishnan, Shihan Shoukath, and others support the project, which is produced by Reel World Entertainment and directed by rookie Advait Nair.

The WWE wrestling-inspired movie, which stars Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Ishan Shoukath, Vishakh Nair, and Pooja Mohandas, promises fast-paced action mixed with humor. The movie attempts to provide a novel action-comedy experience with distinctive character designs, eye-catching wrestling scenes, and a Fort Kochi backdrop. Strong online anticipation has already been created by its teaser, posters, and regular updates.

PVR INOX Pictures will release the movie in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, while Dharma Productions has purchased the North Indian theatrical rights for a pan-India release. The film is scheduled to be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi in more than 115 countries. The film is positioned as a major worldwide release thanks to top technical talent from all departments and music by the renowned trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
