Makutam vs Suriya Film Box Office Clash

Kollywood actor Vishal is gearing up for his latest film Makutam (titled Magudam in Tamil), which marks his debut as a director. Adding to the excitement, Vishal will be seen in a triple role, portraying three distinct characters in this high-voltage action drama. The film features Dushara Vijayan and Anjali as the female leads, with veteran producer R. B. Choudary backing the project under the Super Good Films banner. Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The posters, teaser, and glimpses released so far have received a strong response, raising expectations among fans.

The film is currently progressing at a brisk pace in post-production, and reports suggest that the makers are planning a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 14 as an Independence Day special. Meanwhile, Suriya’s upcoming film Viswanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Mamitha Baiju, is also slated for release on the same date. If both films hit theatres as planned, a major box office clash between Vishal and Suriya is expected, making it one of the most anticipated showdowns in Kollywood.
